Two bombs and seven shells defused in Ukraine

KIEV, January 11, 12:42 /ITAR-TASS/. Two aviation bombs and seven shells of different calibres left from WWII were defused in the Crimea.

Press service of the national emergency situations service reports defusing an AC-50 aviation bomb, three artillery shells of calibre 75 and one of 122 millimetres. The arsenal was found on Friday near the village of Bondarenkovo. On the same day, a 100-kilogram FAB-100 aviation bomb was found in the village of Chistopolye, and near the city of Kerch - two artillery shells of calibre 152 millimetres and one of 76 millimetres.

“We have used a controlled explosion to defuse those arsenals,” the press service said.

From beginning of the current year, experts of the national emergency situations service went to 40 places, where explosives had been found.
