MOSCOW, January 07, /ITAR-TASS/. Russian president’s aide Igor Levitin visited the Sochi sea port to inspect its readiness for the forthcoming Winter Olympic Games, the Russian federal sea and river transport agency said in a release.
“On January 7, presidential aide Igor Levitin visited the Sochi sea port, inspected its facilities to check their readiness to host cruise ships during the Winter Olympic Games, and voiced a number proposals on how to handle passenger flows,” the agency said.
After the inspection, Levitin had a working meeting with Russian Deputy Minister of Transport Viktor Olersky, head of the Russian federal sea and river transport agency Alexander Davydenko and his deputy Vikot Vovk, captains of Novorossiisk and Sochi ports, Vladimir Yerygin and Vyacheslav Blokhin, director general of Rosmorport state company Andrei Tarasenko and head of a number of other organizations.
