VIENNA, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russians won Men’s Sabre Team Gold at the World Fencing Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
In the finals the team of Kamil Ibragimov, Nikolai Kovalev, Veniamin Reshetnikov and Alexei Yakimenko overwhelmed Romania 45:39. South Korea’s fencing team came third, defeating opponents from Belarus.
This is Russia’s second gold medal at the World Fencing Championships. Veniamin Reshetnikov won Men’s Sabre Individual Gold.
