KAZAN, July 17 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian National Squad has won a total of 292 medals, including 155 gold, 75 silver and 62 bronze medals, at the 27th World Summer Student Games in Kazan and is the absolute leader. The Chinese are second (26-29-22) and the Japanese are third (24-28-32).

The Russian National Squad won 4 gold and 3 silver medals on the last day of the World Student Games.

All in all, the athletes competed for 351 sets of medals in 27 sports.

The closing ceremony of the XXVII World Summer Student Games got under way in Kazan at 22:00 Moscow time.
