KAZAN, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian rowing team of Lev Gritsenko, Viktor Misyutkin, Rostislav Drozhzhachikh, Georgy Efremenko, Ivan and Nikolai Balandinykh, Anton Zarutsky, Daniil Andrienko and Pavel Safonkin have won the gold medals in the men’s eight event at the Kazan Universiade on Monday. Their gold result is 5 minutes 47.54 seconds.
The Ukrainian rowing team won the silver medals (5.52,31). The Dutch rowers won the bronze medals (5.53,55).
