LONDON, June 27 (Itar-Tass) - Eleven top tennis players withdrew from the Wimbledon tennis championship because of traumas in the first four days of the season’s third Grand Slam tournament with a prize fund exceeding 13 million dollars.

Frenchman Michael Llodra was the last player who failed to finish his second round match vs. Italian Andreas Seppi. Llodra retired after losing the first set to Seppi (5-7).

The Wimbledon record was set on Wednesday when seven heavyweight players had to pull out because of traumas. They included Australian Open champion Viktoria Azarenka of Belarus and sixth-seeded Jo Wilfred Tsonga (France).

All the tennis players are complaining of the grass court, which, they say, is too trauma hazardous.
