United Nations/League of Arab States Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi will hold three-party consultations with Russian and the United States diplomats on the preparations for a peace conference on Syria (Geneva-2) on November 5, United Nations Spokesperson Farhan Haq said on Tuesday.
According to Haq, another meeting in the expended format will be held on the same day. It will involve three other permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, namely Great Britain, China and France.
