GENEVA, October 16 (Itar-Tass) - Iran wants to hold the next round of talks with the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany at the ministerial level, a source close to the talks told Itar-Tass.

“Iranians want the U.S. Secretary of State and other ministers to take part in the talks,” the source said.

Earlier, a source in the Iranian delegation told Itar-Tass that the next meeting between Iran and the six world powers  might be held in Geneva in November.

Previously, a US delegation source told Itar-Tass that the meeting, in which Wendy Sherman, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi took palrt, continued for about an hour. The talks were useful, the sourcea added.

Iran and the six international mediators began talks in Geneva on Tuesday. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov heads the Russian delegation.
