PARIS, October 6 (Itar-Tass) - U.N./LAS Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi said he is not sure that the second international conference on Syria (Geneva-2) would take place in the middle of November.

Answering a question if there is a chance to hold the conference as scheduled, Brahimi said, “The date has not been specified yet.”

On September 28, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said the conference was scheduled to be held in the middle of November.

AFP reported that Brahimi was responsible for preparing the conference. Preparations should be over by the end of October, the news agency adds.
