EMERCOM plane arrives in Tunisia to pick up diplomats evacuated from Libya

The plane is expected to bring the evacuees to Moscow’s Domodedovo airport on Friday morning

MOSCOW, October 4 (Itar-Tass) - A plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situation (EMERCOM) has arrived in Tunisia to pick up Russian diplomats and their families evacuated from Libya, EMERCOM sources have told Tass.

The plane touched down at 03:10 Moscow time, they said.

EMERCOM spokeswoman Irina Rossius told Tass earlier that the plane was expected to bring the evacuees to Moscow’s Domodedovo airport on Friday morning.
