Militants take bus with 40 passengers hostage in Syria

TEHRAN, September 24 (Itar-Tass) - Militants from the Islamist group Jebhat an-Nusra intercepted a bus in northern Syria, kidnapping over 40 passengers, mainly women and children, Iran’s Fars news agency reported on Tuesday.

The militant group opposes the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
