MOSCOW, September 22 (Itar-Tass) - A shell has fallen on the territory of the Russian embassy in Damascus, the embassy’s duty diplomat told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“A shell has fallen on the territory of the embassy; nobody was injured,” the diplomat said. “The representation is working normally.”

Earlier, the media reported the embassy had been under fire. The information was two shells had fallen on the territory of the diplomatic representation and several people got injured. However, the information was not confirmed.
