CAIRO, September 15 (Itar-Tass) - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Nabil El Arabi, has called on all the parties that have influence on Syrian conflicting parties to spare no effort to ensure the success of the U.S.-Russia framework agreement on Syria and begin political settlement in that country.
In his stamenet released on Sunday, he hailed the Russia-U.S. agreements as creating the best conditions for a peaceful conference Geneva-2 and promoting the process of peaceful settlement of the Syrian crisis.
The statement appeals to the United Nations Security Council urging it to do its best to stop violence and bloodshed in Syria as soon as possible.
The leader of the biggest pan-Arab organization also urged to create better conditions for humanitarian and medical assistance to the Syrian people.
