PARIS, September 4 (Itar-Tass) - Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said it might be necessary for Russia to change its position on Syria.
“Of course, we’ll hold talks with Russia because it is a very important country. Till now Russia has blocked a resolution on Syria in the U.N. Security Council. It may be necessary for Russia to change the position on Syria,” the French minister said.
He said discussions devoted to the Syrian problem would take place in St. Petersburg within and on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
