MOSCOW, September 3 (Itar-Tass) - The U.S. ships carrying cruise missiles in Syria will have a negative impact on the situation, Russian Defense Ministry representative to the Public Chamber Oleg Dogayev said on Tuesday.
“The ministry voices concern over the situation. The U.S. pressure arouses special anxiety. The recent statements on a military scenario and the deployment of U.S. ships carrying cruise missiles in Syria will have a negative impact on the situation in the region,” Dogayev said.
“Any steps on Syria can be taken only after U.N. experts submit their report. The unilateral use of force will wreck political and diplomatic means,” he said.
