UFA, August 23 (Itar-Tass) - The Muslim Brotherhood’s action in Egypt discredit Muslims all round the world, chairman of the Central Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia, supreme mufti Talgat Tajuddin said on Friday.

“What has happened in Egypt discredits Muslims all round the world. The movement’s supporters burnt 49 Coptic Orthodox churches. Even Companions of the Prophet leave alone these churches when they came. And suddenly some people decided that they are more righteous that the Prophet himself,” the mufti said.

“Thus, these are not Muslims who worked off their bad temper on Christians, but these are people who want demonstrate Islam in its most sleazy appearance,” Tajuddin said.

“Be it for good or for bad, Hosni Mubarak served the people for more than 20 years, but he was imprisoned in his 85 years,” the mufti said, adding that there should not be anarchy in the state.
