BANGKOK, August 21 (Itar-Tass) - Malaysia has decided to evacuate its citizens from Egypt, local mass media report.

A total of 3,300 Malaysian citizens stay in Egypt. Most of them pursued studies in Egypt. Seats at commercial flights will be reserved, mass media report.

Earlier, the Thai authorities started evacuating its citizens from Egypt. On Monday, August 19, over 600 Thai citizens arrived in Bangkok from Egypt. Another 300 people gave an application to the embassy for an immediate return. “It is extremely dangerous for foreigners to stay in Egypt. There is no chance to take money by cash machine and buy foodstuffs. Servicemen fire at all who turn out to be at streets. Protesters are becoming more and more cruel,” one of the Thai students said.
