Russia to continue humanitarian aid to Palestinians

MOSCOW, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - Russia will continue providing humanitarian aid to the friendly Palestinian people within the bilateral format and within specialized international organizations, the Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.

On Thursday, July 11 the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry planes delivered 700 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Syrian city of Latakia, including foodstuffs and other essentials, for Palestinian refugees staying on the territory of Syria.

“The Palestinian leadership and Palestinian refugees themselves expressed gratitude to Russia’s humanitarian aid,” the ministry said.
