CAIRO, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - Mohammed Badia, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide, has warned that Egypt could repeat Syria’s fate. Badia said on Monday that Egyptian Defense Minister Abdul Fattah al-Sisi wanted Egypt to follow into Syria’s footsteps.

At the same time, the Islamist leaders have called for international interference in Egypt to avert the Syrian scenario.

Dozens of Syrian mercenaries have reportedly been detained in Cairo in recent days. They have penetrated into Egypt to wage a war against the unfaithful.

For its part, the Tamarrud youth movement that stood behind the multi-thousand street rallies which later ousted President Mohamed Morsi from power has demanded that the interim president disband the Islamist’ political party.

The headquarters of Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party were closed after an arms depot had been discovered in its building.
