CAIRO, July 3 (Itar-Tass) - The radical Egyptian Islamic organization Al-Gamaa al-Islamiya has made an appeal Wednesday to President Mohammed Morsi to hold early presidential elections in the country.

Earlier the representatives of the Egyptian army have denied reports of the newspaper Al-Ahram, that provided details of the ‘road map’ prepared by the Ministry of Defence of Egypt to get the country out of political crisis. As the representative of the command said, the implementation of this plan is possible only after a discussion and approval by all parties concerned.

According to the paper, President Mohammed Mursi can be displaced today by the military after a 48-hour ultimatum in the case of "crisis unresolved" and the refusal to resign. The power, according to the "road map", would be passed to the presidential council of three members, headed by the chairman of the Supreme Constitutional Court. Then, according to "Al-Ahram", there will be formed a "transitional government" headed by a representative of the Ministry of Defence of Egypt. It is also expected to introduce a transitional period of 9 to 12 months, during which it is planned to prepare a new Constitution of Egypt, on the basis of which new presidential elections will be conducted.

Meanwhile, a senior representative of Egyptian Islamists supporting Mursi said the people of the country "will not remain indifferent to a military coup".
