Egypt’s army proposes to dump Mohammed Mursi in case of resignation refusal

CAIRO, July 3. / ITAR-TASS /. The command of the army of Egypt has proposed its own plan to resolve the political crisis in the country. It provides a forced displacement of Mohammed Mursi as president if he refuses to resign his post voluntarily. This was reported today by the Al-Ahram newspaper.

The Army also proposes the establishment of a presidential council of three members headed by the chairman of the Supreme Constitutional Court of the country. The plan also provides for the elaboration of the new Constitution of Egypt, which would provide a basis for the presidential and parliamentary elections, as specifies the publication.
