CAIRO, June 19. /ITAR-TASS /. In the bomb attack, which took place today in the northern Iraqi province of Mosul, five people were killed. According to police spokesperson, the victims are one of the leaders of Iraqi National Alliance (INA) and his four brothers.

Another six members of the same family were injured. According to reports, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the garden of the house where the family was.

The attack occurred on the eve of the local government elections scheduled for Thursday, which will take place in areas of compact residence of the Sunni minority.

It is reported that another attempt of an attack in this province was committed to a member of the Parliament. The terrorist has detonated a car bomb in the path of his motorcade, still the officer was not injured.
