About 50,500,000 Iranians who have the right to vote may participate in the poll.
Iranian citizens will also have the possibility to vote in 96 countries, where a total of 290 polling stations will be open. An Iranian Foreign Ministry official said earlier that 850,000 ballots were sent to the polling stations abroad.
