MOSCOW, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - Tehran is in constant consultations with Moscow over military-technical cooperation, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told a press conference on Tuesday in reply to the question whether Iran has launched the negotiations with Russia over the supplies of the air defence systems Tor.

“We have the agreements with Russia in the sphere of defence. We are in constant consultations on these issues,” Abdollahian noted.

On Monday, Iranian Ambassador in Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi stated that Iran is not interested in the supplies of the air defence systems Tor-M1E instead of the air defence systems S-300. “As for the possibility to settle this issue (over the air defence systems S-300) with Russia through talks, this can be done for sure. We will take the efforts to keep the door for the negotiations open,” the ambassador underlined.
