RME plane brings almost 100 RF, CIS citizens from Syria

MOSCOW, February 20 (Itar-Tass) - A plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (RME) has brought here from Syria almost 100 citizens of Russia and CIS countries who opted to leave that country, an official at the RME information departmenr told Itar-Tass.

"An IL-62 plane landed at Domodedovo airport here at 00:06 on Wednesday, bringing 99 people. There are 29 women and 38 children among them," the RME official said. These are citizens of Russia and CIS countries.

Two RME planes, an IL-62 and an lL-76, on Tuesday delivered more than 46 tonnes of humanitarian aid supplies for the population of Syria: 10-kwt mobile power plants, tents, blankets, beds and other prime necessities, as well as canned fish and milk, and sugar. The IL-76 will also land at Domodedovo shorlty. However, there are no Russian passnegers on board.

Two RME planes also brought 77 people, mainly women and children, who wanted to leave Syria, to Moscow from Beirut in January.
