MOSCOW, November 16 (Itar-Tass) — The Palestine National Authority (PNA) hopes to attain a permanent ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through the efforts of Egypt and other international players, Palestinian Ambassador in Moscow Fayed Mustafa said here on Friday.
The diplomat noted that Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil arrived in the Gaza Strip. “This visit was coordinated with Israel and will last 3-4 hours. The agreement was reached to cease fire for the time of this visit,” he said.
Fayed Mustafa noted that Palestine urged Israel to stop aggression against the Gaza Strip, adding that the PNA intends to obtain peace through talks.
