MOSCOW, July 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will meet with Kofi Annan in Moscow on 17 July, the Kremlin’s press service announced on Sunday.

Special Envoy of the UN and the League of Arab States will be on a visit to Russia on July 16-17. It would be his second visit to Moscow over four months.

During the upcoming meeting the sides "are planned to reiterate Russia's support for the peace plan of Kofi Annan on the politico-diplomatic settlement of the crisis in Syria." The Russian side believes that "the plan is the only viable solution platform for settlement of Syria’s internal problems."
