MOSCOW, November 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia is against any resolutions or pressure on Syria, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Friday.
“Force interference into Syria’s domestic affairs is inadmissible,” the Russian diplomat stressed. “Human rights pretexts must not be used as an excuse for such interference.”
Commenting on the West’s proposal to set up the so-called “humanitarian corridors” in Syria, Lukashevich said, “Moscow is trying to make out what it might mean.”
In his words, Russia “proceeds from the fact that Syria needs an inner political dialogue rather than any resolutions or pressure.”
