MOSCOW, September 19 (Itar-Tass) - On Wednesday, Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of Netherlands to hand him a note over the provocative actions of The Arctic Sunrise ship in the Arctic.
“September 18, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands whom the ministry officials handed a not over the provocative actions of the Dutch ship The Arctic Sunrise in the waters adjoining Russia’s northern shores,” a spokesman said.
The note said these actions put the lives of people in danger and were fraught with a heavy ecological aftermath.
“The ministry expressed an urgent request to the Dutch authorities to take immediate steps towards averting activities of that kind in the future,” the spokesman said.
