"Three factions are calling a general meeting of coalition members to form a new coalition," he said, adding that the new coalition will ink an agreement to support Verkhovna Rada (parliament) speaker Vladimir Groisman as candidate for prime minister.
The Radical Party leader said his faction will not join the new coalition. "So far, our initiatives have been ignored, so, we don’t see a possibility to take part in the new coalition," Lyashko said.
He said the new coalition is expected to meet at noon on Tuesday and the voting on the candidature for prime minister will take place in the evening.
He also said he does not rule out that on Tuesday the Verkhovna Rada may give its consent to the resignation of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.
