EU, Ukraine agree extended agenda on association — EU foreign policy chief

Federica Mogherini did not specify whether this agenda included issues of further simplification of the visa regime for Kiev

BRUSSELS, March 16. /TASS/. The European Union and Ukraine have agreed an extended agenda in the area of association, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said on Monday after a meeting of EU foreign ministers.

She said the extended agenda in the area of association with Ukraine had been agreed within the framework of discussions on the preparations for an Eastern Partnership summit due in May in Riga.

She did not specify however whether this agenda included issues of further simplification of the visa regime for Kiev, which hopes to hear from the European union at the Riga summit that it was abolishing visa regime with Ukraine.
