Ukraine accuses self-defense forces of blocking OSCE mission movement

OSCE representatives were ready to go to Debaltsevo, but the possibility was blocked by representatives of DPR and LPR, spokesman of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Valeriy Chalyi, says

KIEV, February 17. /TASS/. The Ukrainian side has accused the self-defense forces of blocking the movement of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) mission in Debaltsevo, spokesman of the Ukrainian presidential administration Valeriy Chalyi said on Tuesday.

"OSCE representatives led by Alexander Hug set off for the region and were ready, have been ready for two days to go to Debaltsevo. However, this possibility was blocked by representatives of DPR and LPR [self-proclaimed Doentsk and Luhansk People’s Republics]," Chalyi said.

"In this respect, we call upon all negotiating countries in Minsk [meeting] and EU, NATO and OSCE to decisively condemn the blocking of OSCE [mission] movement," he added.
