Kiev military resume shelling Luhansk residential districts — Luhansk republic

The Emergencies Ministry of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic said fire was again opened on Luhansk from the direction of the Ukrainian military’s positions

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Kiev military have resumed shelling the city of Luhansk. They opened fire on the city’s north-western residential districts at 14.00, the Emergencies Ministry of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic told TASS by phone on Friday.

"At about 14.00 local time, fire was again opened on Luhansk from the direction of the Ukrainian military’s positions," the source said. "The Kamennobrodsky district [in the north-west of the city -eds. TASS] came under shelling."

Preliminary reports say multiple rocket launchers bombarded the city.

In recent days Luhansk has become a target for shelling. Overnight to February 13, two women and a man were killed and another four were wounded. Also, the shelling partially destroyed residential houses and infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, representatives of the LPR Emergencies Ministry said that on February 12-13 rockets fired by Kiev military from the Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers pounded the city and its outskirts.
