KIEV, January 30. /TASS/. Kiev insists on the participation of the leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) in the negotiations of the Contact Group on the Ukrainian crisis settlement, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador at Large Dmitry Kuleba told reporters on Friday.

"We’ve learned this morning that DPR and LPR have sent quite different people — (Denis) Pushilin and (Vladislav) Deinego. But we should adhere to the format we had agreed upon," he said.

DPR chief negotiator Denis Pushilin has said on arrival in Minsk that he was unaware if negotiations of the Contact Group on Ukraine will take place on Friday.

"We have the understanding how the conflict sides should conduct, we are based on the results of the meeting that was held in Donetsk," he said. "We only have to wait for the Ukrainian side. They are very unpredictable. As their arrival is uncertain, we cannot say if the negotiations will take place or again not."
