KIEV, January 22. /TASS/. Ukraine’s cabinet of ministers on Thursday expanded its list of territories in the country’s east which are not controlled by authorities in Kiev, the Ukrainian News website reported, citing Deputy Prime Minister Gennadiy Zubko.

“Three cities — Yasinovataya, Peski and Avdeevka - were added to the list yesterday on instructions from Prime Minister (Arseniy Yatsenyuk),” Zubko, who is also responsible for regional development, housing and public utilities, was quoted as saying.

On November 7, the cabinet of ministers in Kiev ordered ministries and agencies to make a list of uncontrolled or partially controlled settlements in eastern Ukraine to stop financing budget-reliant institutions there. The list included the cities of Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk, Gorlovka and some other territories in the Donetsk region, shattered by conflict between government forces and local militias.
