PYONGYANG, January 13. /TASS/. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who has inspected the Air Force and Air Defense command, has ordered to intensify and improve Air Force pilots’ training under “real war” conditions, the country’s central news agency said on Tuesday.

The form and methods of military drills must meet up-to-date combat operation requirements. “It is a task set by the Korean Workers’ Party,” the agency quoted the supreme commander as saying.

The North Korean leader expressed confidence that the Air Force and Air Defense would continue to reliably guarantee the implementation of North Korea’s policy, remaining in high combat readiness.

Kim Jong-un inspected military facilities, a shooting gallery, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and volleyball and basketball grounds and ordered to open a cinema hall for servicemen to watch films about military science achievements.

The supreme commander was accompanied by the chief of the political department of the Korean People’s Army, the defense minister, the Air Force and Air Defense commander and party leaders. Among them was Kim Jong-un’s younger sister Kim Yo-jong, who is deputy director of the party’s Central Committee department.
