Donetsk, Luhansk republics create joint contact group for economic, social issues

DONETSK, December 17. /TASS/. The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics have created a permanent contact group for discussing legal issues and joint solutions of economic and social problems, the deputy speaker of the Donetsk People’s council, Denis Pushilin, said on Wednesday.

“The group will be expanded permanently to encompass more areas of activity. We should interact and stick to a common format in law-making and executive work. The experience of individual legislators benefits all,” the Donetsk News Agency quotes Pushilin as saying.

The corresponding decision was adopted at a meeting of Donetsk and Luhansk legislators in Donetsk. Pushilin said the initial rules of procedure were formulated at the talks, Pushilin said.
