ST. PETERSBURG, November 26. /TASS/. Russian FC Zenit Saint Petersburg beat Portugal’s SL Benfica 1-0 in a home game on Matchday 5 of the Champions League group stage in St. Petersburg.

Danny scored the goal in the 79th minute.

Zenit is currently in second place in Group C with 7 points.

On Matchday 6 on December 9, the visiting Russian team will play France’s Monaco, and Benfica will play a home match against Germany’s Leverkusen.
