MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday dismissed rumors that a baby had allegedly been born to the Russian leader.

"The information on a baby born to Vladimir Putin is false," Peskov told the Forbes magazine commenting on some European media reports, which quoted unverified sources.

"I am going to ask people who have money to organize a contest on the best media rumor," the Kremlin spokesman added.

Putin has two daughters, Maria and Katerina, born in 1985 and 1986.
