MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Servicemen from Russia’s Eastern Military District will participate in five international drills this year, the commander of the district, Colonel General Sergey Surovikin said on Wednesday.
"Servicemen from motorized infantry and air units will take part in the Russian-Mongolian Selenga military drills at a range in the Trans-Baikal Territory and in the Russian-Chinese drills in the territory of China," Surovikin noted.
"Russia’s Pacific Fleet will be involved in the Russian-Chinese Joint Sea Exercise in the Mediterranean Sea and the Sea of Japan, as well as in Russian-Indian Indra exercise and Russian-Japanese Sarex drills," he added.
