MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. It is hard to imagine under current conditions that Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski will attend May ceremonies in Moscow marking 70 years since Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, Poland’s ambassador to Russia, Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz, said on Friday.

"I can only quote what the president’s speaker has said. It has not been said that the president will not come," Pelczynska-Nalecz said. "It has been said that under current circumstances, it is hard to imagine the president’s presence."

This "is the best way to illustrate our president’s position under current circumstances," she said, adding that "there are no other decisions at the moment".

The diplomat noted also that neither have there been any decisions on other representatives of the country's top leadership attending commemorations featuring a Red Square parade.
