Ukrainian specialists find no signs of military activity in Russia's Rostov region

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. Ukrainian specialist have not observed any military activity on the part of Russian army units in the course of an inspection that was held in the southern Rostov region from February 9 to February 12, the chief of the Russian Defense Ministry's department for observance of agreements, Sergey Ryzhkov said on Thursday.

He said the ministry had complied with the provisions of the 2011 Vienna Document and had ensured inspection on an areas of about 15,000 sq km that had been selected by the Ukrainian side.

"Ukrainian representatives said they hadn't noticed any military activities on the part of units of the Russian Armed Forces in the area chosen for the inspection," Ryzhkov said. "They pointed out precise observance of the Vienna document by the officials who had escorted them."
