Russia to walk out of PACE session if sanctions are renewed — lawmaker

STRASBOURG, January 26. /TASS/. Russia will walk out of the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) if sanctions against the Russian delegation are renewed, head of the international affairs committee of the lower house of Russia’s parliament Aleksey Pushkov told reporters on Monday.

“If sanctions against our delegation are renewed, we will leave the PACE session after the voting,” he said.

Pushkov said that the issue of the Russian delegation’s powers are to be considered on Wednesday, January 28, and so far the Russian parliamentarians have not planned to quit the assembly session.
