MOSCOW, January 20 /TASS/. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has handed over the copies of some materials of a criminal case linked to a Falcon plane crash at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport in October last year to France, Marina Gridneva, a spokesperson for the Russian Prosecutor’s General Office, told TASS on Tuesday.

In October 2014, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office received a request from the French Justice Ministry on legal assistance on a criminal case opened in connection with the death of four French nationals, including Total’s head Christophe de Margerie, in a Falcon plane crash at Vnukovo airport on October 20, 2014.

In its request, the French Justice Ministry asked Russian prosecutors to hand over the service documents of the Russian criminal case linked to Falcon’s crash and the copies of digital carriers of photo and video recording that had been made at the crash site.

“Today, on January 20, 2015, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office handed over the requested materials to the competent bodies of that country (France) via the French embassy (in Moscow),” Gridneva said.
