All gunmen blocked at Grozny House of Press killed — National Anti-Terrorism Committee

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. All gunmen blocked at a House of Press in Chechnya’s capital Grozny are killed, operating actions are being taken to neutralize bandits entrenched at a secondary school, the information center of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee told TASS.

“The information center of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee confirms Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s statement that all bandits blocked at the House of Press in Grozny are killed,” the National Anti-Terrorism Committee noted.

During the anti-terrorist operation additional measures are being taken “to neutralize gunmen who had entrenched at the 20th secondary school in Grozny."

A group of unidentified criminals driving in three cars have attacked a road police post in the Chechen capital at around 1am local time on Thursday. This was earlier reported that three road policemen were killed. Then assailants have broken into the House of Press. Law enforcers have blocked the building and the anti-terrorist operation regime was announced in central Grozny.

Seven gunmen were killed in the special operation. They planned to stage major terrorist acts in the republic, Kadyrov said.

Meanwhile, law enforcers have blocked another group of gunmen at the secondary school in central Grozny.

Four people were killed and 21 wounded in a counter-terrorism operation in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, a source at the Russian Health Ministry said.

"Three people are in a critical condition," the source told TASS.
