MOSCOW, February 13. / TASS /. The Chinese "western route" gas pipeline project is near ready for construction, said Gazprom head Alexey Miller on Friday, after his visit to China.

"During the current negotiations, we are focused on the "western route." The new contract has been prepared for the supply of 30 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The pipeline project has a high degree of readiness, for the start of the construction process. We are also moving at a good pace in commercial negotiations," Miller added.
