PARIS, February 10. /TASS/ The International Energy Agency (IEA) has retained its previous forecast for global oil demand for 2015 at 93.4 million barrels per day, the organization said in its February report on Tuesday.

The IEA expects an increase in the world oil demand in 2015 by 0.9 million barrels per day to 93.4 million barrels per day.

"The acceleration of growth after a moderate rise by 600 thousand barrels in 2014, takes place against a better macroeconomic forecast," said the IEA.

The agency expects non-OPEC member-countries to boost production by 800,000 barrels per day to a level of 57.4 mln barrels per day. The agency earlier forecast the boost to be of 1.3 mln barrels a day.

Global oil production fell by 235,000 barrels per day in January to 94.1 mln bpd on the back of a decline in production in both OPEC and non-OPEC countries.
