Russia defense not to be affected without Mistral — chief of presidential staff

SHEREMETYEVO (Moscow region), December 23. /TASS/. Chief of Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Ivanov said the country’s defense capabilities will not be harmed without helicopter carriers Mistral, meanwhile, both options of problem settlement — ships or money — will suit Moscow.

“Any option suits us — ships or money. I can say to you frankly that defense of our homeland will not be affected without Mistral,” Ivanov told reporters.
