MINSK, December 10 /TASS/. Belarusian customs officers said on Tuesday that information about customs inspections on the border with Russia did not correspond to reality.
“The information circulated in Russian media that Belarus has resumed customs inspections on the border with Russia does not correspond to the reality,” the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The document said that the republic’s customs bodies are observing customs formalities related to customs transit of good transported via the territory of Belarus in strict compliance with the customs legislation of the Customs Union and the Republic of Belarus.
