MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russia’s presidential administration cooperates with China to exchange experience in fighting corruption, presidential chief of staff Sergey Ivanov said on Monday.
“We maintain bilateral cooperation in the fight against corruption with our Chinese partners. You know how China fights corruption. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China deals with this issue. It has directly cooperated with the Russian presidential administration since last year,” Ivanov said.
“This experience is useful. This does not mean that we’ll imitate what China is doing. It is always interesting to know the present-day means and methods,” he said.
At the same time, Ivanov said Russia was developing active cooperation with other countries and international organizations.
“The UN did us the pleasure to organise the UN Anti-Corruption Conference in St Petersburg next year,” he said.
“This is the major world forum on this topic. The fact that it will be held in Russia’s territory proves the international community recognises Russia’s achievements in fighting corruption,” Ivanov said.
